Family Law Solicitor

An opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join our expanding Family Law team at Barcan Woodward.

The ideal candidate will have been qualified as a Solicitor for 5 years and will have extensive experience in conducting private divorce and ancillary relief matters and an ability and willingness to develop and market this work.

A trained Collaborative Lawyer or an interest in training and working in Collaborative Law will be preferred.

You will be a member of Resolution and possibly either a Resolution Accredited Specialist or SRA Family Panel Member.

The post will be based at our Horfield Office but with the opportunity to develop a presence at our King Street Office.

Salary is negotiable and based on experience.

Family Law Paralegal

An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our expanding Family Law team at Barcan Woodward.

You will ideally be a law graduate with an interest in Family Law and some basic knowledge and/or experience of working in Family Law.

The role will be to assist the Child Care department and will be based primarily at our Horfield Office.

Salary will be dependent upon experience.

Personal Injury Locum

Locum solicitor or FILEX with at least 2 years PQE in personal injury work wanted to cover maternity absence from 1 August 2010 to 1 June 2011 on a 4 day per week basis.

The case load to be covered is a mixed RTA / EL / Occupier’s liability personal injury case load of mainly fast track matters, both issued and pre-issue.

The position offers the opportunity to gain experience of a wide breadth of personal injury work within a specialist department based at our King Street office
